Top honours for Oman at World Travel Awards

April 20 - Oman Airports announced that Muscat Airport has won the 2018 World Travel Awards as the Middle East’s leading new tourism development project in 2018. The world Travel Awards in its 25th session, held in Ras Al Khaimah, is rated among the world's most prestigious awards for the travel and tourism sector. 'We are proud to have  won two prizes as the best tourism development project for the airport and the best airline for its business and economy classes in the Middle East,' the Minster of Transport said in his statement. In aviation, Oman Air was honoured with trophies for both Middle East's Leading Airline - Business Class: and Middle East's Leading Airline - Economy Class.
