KHOULA HOSPITAL RECEIVES ENDOSCOPES

MUSCAT: The Khoula Hospital, represented by the Orthopaedic Department, on Sunday received two endoscopes devices donated by the heirs of Mohammed bin Qasim al Zadjali. Dr Rashid al Riziqi, Director-General of the Khoula Hospital, along with a number of senior officials have attended the handed-over ceremony. Dr Suwailm al Ghannami, Head of Orthopaedic Department, thanked the heirs for their initiative which will make a significant contribution to increasing the number of endoscopy procedures for sports injuries and fractures. Dr Al Ghannami also added that such devices will significantly reduce the waiting period, in which it will help to perform 10 to 15 operations per week in the hospital.
