Salalah weather

Heavy to moderate rains fell in various governorates yesterday leading to overflowing of wadis. Governorate of Al Buraimi received the highest 35 mm rainfall followed by Governorate of Dhofar 26 mm, Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah 19 mm, Governorate of Al Dhahirah 16 mm and the Governorate of North Al Batinah 13 mm. The rains topped up dams and reservoirs. Sahalnoot Dam in Salalah was holding 5 million cubic metres of water and the flood protection dam in Salalah was holding 24.45 million cubic metres of water.
