Al Nasr to take on Seeb in Round of 32

Muscat: Defending champions Al Nasr will take on Seeb, while runners-up Sohar will face off Saham in the His Majesty's Cup football Round of 32 matches. The draw ceremony was organised by Oman Football Association (OFA) under auspices of HH Sayyid Harib bin Thuwaini al Said in presence of Salim al Wahaibi, OFA chairman, top officials and representatives of clubs, at Kempinski hotel in Muscat on Wednesday.

In other Round of 32 clashes, Muscat will take on Dhofar, Al Hamra meet Al Musannah, Al Bashaer host Al Suwaiq and Fanja take on Al Salam. The rounds of 32 and 16 will be elimination rounds. The HM Cup draw function included a visual presentation that covered the history of the cup since the first edition until the last edition. Also, OFA honoured all the chairmen of the referee committees for the previous boards.

The matches of Round of 32 will be played on September 18 and 19 while last 16 round will be held on October 7. It is scheduled that matches of last 8 round will be played on November 6 and December 4. The semifinal matches will be held on April 10 and 16, 2019. The date of final is still to be decided.
