MOH urges cooperation in dengue mosquito probe

Muscat: The Ministry of Health will begin the investigation of the six likely Aedes aegypti mosquito breeding sites in Seeb on Sunday, by distributing the work teams to the select areas.

The ministry said that the research includes possible places for mosquito breeding, which requires the entry of technical teams to homes and farms.

The ministry appealed to citizens and residents to cooperate with the investigation teams to facilitate their tasks for the public good.

These six blocks are: Block 3 (North Mawaleh and airport); Block 4 (South Mawaleh), Block 5 and 6 (Al Khoudh District 3, 4 and 5); Block 7 (Wadi Al Lawami, Sur al Hadid and Sharadi); and Block 8 (South Mawaleh 4 and 5, and Al Khoudh District 2).
