HM’s greetings conveyed to the Portuguese president

 
LISBON: President Dr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of the Portuguese Republic received Ambassador Ahmed bin Mohammed al Araimi who presented his credentials as non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Portugal at the Presidential Palace, on Tuesday.

The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his wishes of good health and happiness to the president, the government and continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Portuguese people.

The Portuguese president asked the ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to His Majesty along with his wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty and for continued progress and prosperity for the people of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Portuguese president wished the ambassador success in performing his duties hoping that the bilateral relations between the two countries would see further development and growth.

The ambassador stressed the keenness of His Majesty’s government on fostering bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and advancing the prospects of cooperation in all fields to serve their common interests.
