HM presides over student festival

 
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik presided over the student festival 'Oman's Renewed Renaissance' that is being staged at Al Fateh Square in Wattayah.

The event is organised the Secretariat General of National Celebrations (SGNC). The festival will feature 8,000 participants from across Oman's governorates, celebrating the five-year milestone since His Majesty Sultan Haitham assumed the throne and Oman's renewed Renaissance.

The festival includes five artistic panels: The first, 'Welcoming,' reflects the joy and happiness felt by the Omani people on this significant occasion, symbolising their deep pride and gratitude under His Majesty's leadership. The second panel, 'Knowledge,' highlights education as a cornerstone of sustainable development. The third panel, 'A Promise Fulfilled,' portrays the achievements made during the past five years of the renewed Omani Renaissance, showcasing the progress across various sectors and their impact on national growth and development. The fourth panel, 'Oman, the Land of Peace,' expresses Oman's rich heritage, its commitment to Shura, and its approach to peace. The final panel, 'Oman Across Time,' brings together a diverse group of citizens from across the country, celebrating Omani heritage and arts.
