Winners of Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran competition felicitated

Muscat: At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Dr Khamis bin Saif al Jabri, Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, presided over a ceremony at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque on Wednesday to honour the winners of the 32nd edition of Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition.
Al Jabri felicitated winners who occupied the top 3 places in each of the competition's 7 levels, in addition to the jury, the Holy Quran community and participants from among persons with disabilities.
The Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition is aimed at encouraging Omanis to memorise the Holy Quran and follow its teachings. It also seeks to highlight the presence of the Sultanate of Oman in international Quran competitions. — ONA
