The much-anticipated 'Muscat Nights' festival has begun across seven vibrant locations between December 23, and January 21, 2025. This year’s event brings an exciting blend of tradition, culture and innovation with several new attractions designed to captivate visitors.

The 'Muscat Nights' festival is one of the premier cultural and entertainment events in Oman, showcasing a vivid tapestry of Omani art, heritage and contemporary culture. It offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the Sultanate of Oman’s rich traditions in a festive atmosphere that seamlessly merges learning with enjoyment.

Attracting thousands of visitors annually, 'Muscat Nights' festival is an ideal destination for families, friends and travellers seeking cultural immersion and entertainment. The event’s unique combination of local and international art and heritage creates a platform for cultural exchange, drawing participants and audiences from around the world.

This year’s festival highlights Oman’s evolving identity by integrating modern elements while preserving its cultural essence. More than 700 small and medium enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs and productive families will participate, presenting their products and services. For many, it’s a golden opportunity to showcase their offerings to an anticipated audience exceeding one million.

Over 500 personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth operations across all festival locations.



The festival spans several key locations, including Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Public Park, Al Naseem Public Park, Sur Al Hadid Beach, Oman Automobile Association, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) and Wadi Al Khoudh.

Al Qurum Natural Park

Al Qurum hosts Oman’s inaugural Flower Festival, featuring an extensive range of global floral displays, highlighted by dazzling lighting. The Food Festival here will delight gastronomes with culinary competitions, live cooking demonstrations and innovative dishes crafted by renowned chefs. The Global Village segment adds international flair, with participating countries presenting their cultural heritage and traditional cuisines.

Al Amerat Public Park

Al Amerat’s highlights include the spectacular 'Hybrid Show', blending live performances with digital technology, and a revitalised Heritage Village showcasing Omani craftsmanship, traditional music and cultural displays. Visitors can enjoy theatrical performances, carnivals, and thrilling electric and aerial games.

Al Naseem Public Park

Aimed at providing accessibility to a broader audience, Al Naseem mirrors Al Amerat’s offerings, ensuring that residents from different parts of the capital can partake in the festivities.

Sur Al Hadid Beach: Features sports and entertainment activities, perfect for beach lovers.

Oman Automobile Association: Hosts adrenaline-pumping events like the Mina Drift Championship, Karting, and Arena Fight Championships.

OCEC: Houses the Children’s Village, organised by Singapore’s Beko Entertainment, offering interactive fun with popular cartoon characters.

Wadi Al Khoudh: A haven for adventurers, offering zip-lining, mountain walking trails and four-wheel drive challenges.
