Low pressure to affect parts of Oman: Met

Muscat: Drop in temperatures and rains of varying intensity are expected in the next few days as the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a trough of low pressure between December 24 and 26, according to Oman Meteorology.
Oman Met also indicated that cloud formations are likely with chances of scattered rainfall of varying intensity over the governorates of Musandam, North al Batinah, and South al Batinah. Muscat, and South al Sharqiyah.
The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday includes the formation of clouds and isolated rainfall (5-15 mm) over the governorates of Musandam, North al Batinah, South al Batinah, Muscat, and parts of Al Dhakiliyah Governorate with blowing at speeds ranging between 10 and 20 knots.
On Thursday, there will be the formation of clouds with isolated rainfall or varying intensity of 5-15 mm over the governorates of Musandam, North al Batinah, South al Batinah, Muscat, South al Sharqiyah, parts of Al Dhakiliyah Governorate, and the Al Hajar Mountains with winds blowing at speeds ranging between 10-20 knots
