Fida Winter Forum promotes cultural, and natural richness of the Wilayat of Dhank
DHANK: In an effort to promote the cultural, historical, and natural richness of the Wilayat of Dhank, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) branch in Al Dhahirah Governorate, represented by the Tourism Committee, organised the vibrant Fida Winter Forum. The event witnessed remarkable community participation, drawing sports enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and visitors.
Fahd bin Rashid al Zaidi, Chairman of the Organising Committee and OCCI member, stated:“The forum aims to spotlight the Wilayat’s abundant cultural landmarks and historical monuments. By offering visitors field tours, we showcase the unique tourist attractions and foster a deeper connection to the area’s heritage.”
The forum featured a multitude of activities, including an 8-kilometre running competition with over 120 participants. Visitors also enjoyed an engaging market showcasing small and medium enterprises, products from local families, and innovative student projects. Camel and Arabian horse displays, Bedouin tent experiences, and paragliding were among the highlights, offering glimpses into Dhank’s multifaceted charm.
