MUSCAT: The Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) commemorated Retirees’ Day with a grand ceremony at the Training Battalion Shooting Range, celebrating the dedication and service of its retired personnel.
The event was presided over by retired Major General Khalifa al Junaibi, who expressed gratitude to the retirees for their contributions to national security and development. Highlights of the day included a shooting competition, poetry recitations honouring military service, and an awards ceremony recognising individual retirees and team achievements.
Additionally, the RGO introduced the ‘Electronic Dishes’ system, a modernised training tool designed to enhance military readiness and precision.
