The festival this year will have some new features, including the return of some of the popular events such as the Food Festival and a pavilion represented by the embassies of various countries.
Muscat Festival began in 1998 and was designed as a place to keep children entertained during the school holidays, but over the years it has evolved to be one of the largest cultural events in the country.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the festivals reflect the magical beauty of the Sultanate, the depth of its history and heritage, and the urban development witnessed by the country while preserving its cultural heritage, customs, and the authentic Arab traditions of the Omani people.
Muscat Municipal Council recently reviewed Muscat Municipality’s preparations for the Muscat Nights 2025 events, which in its new form includes a variety of entertainment and cultural events that will be held in seven locations in Muscat Governorate between December 23 to January 21.
