Wadi Haibi road rehabilitation 94 per cent complete

Suhar: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology continues repairing the roads affected by the tropical cyclone Shaheen and upgrading road efficiency at two main locations on the Wadi Haibi road in North Al Batinah Governorate.
Engineer Yusef bin Abdullah al Mujaini, Director-General of Projects and Maintenance at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, said that the remaining works on Wadi Haibi Road include the construction of a 5-km bypass road in the town of Al Shabibat, construction of a bridge on Wadi Ahen road to avoid traffic disruption during flash floods and the construction of a roundabout to ease traffic flow in the town of Al Ghadifa.
The implementation rate of repairs on Wadi Haibi Road has reached about 94 per cent so far and the work is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. — ONA
