OOC participates in the meeting of Arab National Olympic Committees

Amman: Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) participated in the 22nd General Assembly meeting of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees which was held on Thursday in Amman, Jordan. The committee was represented by Abdullah bin Mohammed Bamakhalif, OOC Treasurer, and Mohsen bin Hamad al Masroori, Board Member.
During the meeting, it was announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain would host the 17th Arab Games in 2031, while the Kingdom of Jordan was granted the right to host the 18th edition in 2035.
The meeting also approved the final report of the 15th Arab Games held in Algeria last year, as well as the upcoming Arab Women’s Club Games (Sharjah 2024). Additionally, the 2023 annual report of the Union, the financial statements, and the audit report for the fiscal year ending in December 2023 were ratified.
