Shura sessions to discuss budget, several draft laws

MUSCAT: The Majlis Ash’shura will hold a regular session of the second Annual Session (2024-2025) of its fourth term today (Sunday).
During these sessions, it will discuss the draft state general budget for the fiscal year 2025 with Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance.
It will discuss the draft laws on real estate regulation law, communications, information technology and human trafficking bill.
The sessions will discuss recommendations to identify career opportunities in the security and safety sector, necessary measures to prevent expatriate workers from travelling without the sponsor’s approval and those related to developing shelter centres in the Sultanate of Oman.
