Foreign Minister arrives in Riyadh to head Oman delegation in Arab-Islamic Summit

 
Riyadh: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister arrived to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation in the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit which will be held later on Monday in Riyadh.

Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, Sayyid Badr was welcomed by Prince Mohammed Abdulrahman Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh and several Saudi officials.



Sayyid Badr is accompanied by a delegation comprising HH Sayyid Faisal Turki al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Oman’s permanent representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Abdullah Nasser al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Oman’s permanent representative to the Arab League and Sheikh Faisal Omar al Marhoon, Head of the Arab Department at the Foreign Ministry and a number of officials.

The summit will discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression on Palestine and Lebanon and its repercussions on the region.
