Renowned Traveler Santosh George Kulangara Inspires at Maanaviyam 2024

 
Muscat: Santosh George Kulangara, a person who travelled 148 countries and his collective knowledge and wisdom currently being shared with the governments and gained the reputation of ‘The Solo Traveller’ attended the event titled ‘Maanaviyam – 2024’ by World Malayalee Federation (WMF) held in Muscat recently.

Nearly 1,000 people from different walks of life listened to Santosh, also known as SGK, founder of Safari TV, and Managing Director of Labor India Publications whose vision that he gained from extensive travelogue series, Sancharam, which he filmed across more than 140 countries, has been a topic of discussion at various levels including university and state conferences.

The ‘Maanaviyam – 2024’, held on the 68th Kerala Formation Day, November 1st, at the Al Falaj Auditorium in Muscat, also featured a musical concert by playback singers Nadeem Arshad, Bhagyaraj, and their band, along with a comedy show by renowned mimicry artist Rajesh Adimali and his troupe, which promised a captivating and unforgettable evening for the Malayalee community in Oman which was packed to capacity. The event was managed by Red Cube Events.

Speaking to the media, Dr J Retnakumar, Global Chairman expressed WMF's dedication to serving not just the global Malayalee community but humanity as a whole and highlighted the organisation's continued efforts to make a positive impact on society.

Founded in 2016 with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, under the leadership of Dr Prince Pallikunnel, WMF now operates in 166 countries across six continents, with 229 representatives. WMF is committed to uniting the global Malayalee diaspora beyond any differences, working towards common benefits for people from the south Indian state around the world.

On the sidelines of the ‘Maanaviyam – 2024, a magazine titled ‘Viswakairali’ was launched by Santosh George Kulangara to Rajan V Kokkuri, Global Language Forum Coordinator. The magazine, edited by Sapna Anu B George, talks about the global phenomena of sojourn and how their existence makes a difference to the world. A short story competition was also held, in commemoration of the natural calamity in Wayanad as part of the celebrations and three 3 stories were selected from across the globe to be the winners by an eminent panel of judges

Besides Dr Prince Pallikunnel, WMF Founder Chairman, and Dr J Retnakumar, Global Chairman, Poulose Theppala, Global President, Ammujam Raveendran, Global Vice President, Rajan V Kokkuri, Global Language Forum Coordinator, Board Member-Vishwakairali Magazine, Ullas Cherian, Middle East Coordinator-Oman, Sunil Kumar, National Coordinator, George P Rajan, National President, Muhammed Yaseen, Media Coordinator, Shaik Rafeek, National Secretary, Joseph Valiyaveettil, National Treasurer, Anoop Divakaran, Convenor – MANAVEEYAM, Sudheer Chandroth, Global IT Coordinator, Dr Santosh Gheevar, as Special Guest were also present.
