Light Weapons Shooting competition wraps up

 
Muscat: Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, presided over the closing ceremony of the Royal Oman Police Light Weapons Shooting Competition on Thursday.



The event saw the presence of a number of dignitaries, including Their Excellencies senior officers from the Royal Oman Police, military, and security services.



The Special Tasks Police Command team secured the championship shield and first place at the general level, with the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences team taking second place and the General Department of Equipment and Supplies team coming in third.



In the women’s competitions, the Special Tasks Police Command team again took the championship shield and first place overall.



The joint team from the General Department of Airport Security, the General Department of Police Aviation, and the Special Security Police Unit claimed second place, while the Sultan Qaboos Academy team earned third place in the standings.
