ABU DHABI — The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is currently taking part in the 63rd International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Oman’s delegation is headed by Azzan bin Qassim al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. The conference provides a platform that brings together pioneers, innovators and specialists in the tourism sector with the aim of exchanging expertise and successful experiences on ways to employ modern technologies and adopt best practices of sustainability and inclusion, in addition to expanding networks of cooperation and professional relationships at the local, regional and international levels. Oman’s participation in this event aims at highlighting its potential and infrastructure in conference tourism and business tourism in general. It also aims at enhancing the role of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in supporting the economy and devising strategies aimed at developing the national economy and attracting visitors to enhance the local tourism sector and attract investors to establish prominent economic investment projects that promote the tourism sector in various fields. — ONA
