This decision is based on the Labour Law issued by Royal Decree 53/2923

Every employer who employs fifty workers or more is obligated to prepare a complaints and grievances system.

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be effective from the day following the date of its publication.

Article 1 ensures the worker’s right to submit his complaint or grievance directly to the competent administrative division in the Ministry of Labor, the worker may submit his complaint or grievance against the decision issued against him by the employer under the following procedures.

Submit the complaint or grievance first to the direct manager, and the direct manager is obligated to respond to the worker within two working days.

If the worker is not responded to by his direct supervisor within the period specified or the response is a rejection, the worker may submit his grievance to the employer or his representative, and the employer or his representative is obligated in this case to decide on the grievance within five working days.

If the employer or his representative does not respond to him within the period specified in Clause 2 of this Article, or the response is a refusal, the worker may submit a settlement request to the competent administrative division in the Ministry of Labor.
