Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, will head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation to the first joint summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union scheduled to be held in the capital Brussels on Wednesday.

HH Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry andInvestment Promotion, Ambassador Rua bint Issa al Zedjaliyah, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the European Union, Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Secretary-General for Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Saif bin Ahmed al Sawafi, Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Ambassador Shaikh Ahmed bin Hashel al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry and Ambassador Ambassador Munther bin Mahfouz al Mandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department. — ONA
