TASHKENT: Asyad Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade, aiming to explore business opportunities in logistics and enhance supply chains between the two nations.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman al Harthy, Deputy Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, on behalf of Asyad, and Laziz Qodratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade. The MoU focuses on utilizing Asyad’s expertise in managing land ports, railways, air freight, and e-commerce to improve logistics efficiency in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

Wafa bint Jabr al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and Asyad CEO Eng Abdulrahman bin Salem al Hatmi were present at the signing ceremony, underlining Asyad’s vision to expand its role in global logistics. — ONA
