MUSCAT: The 5th Duqm Forum, themed 'Blue Economy: The New Investment Destination', is set to kick off on October 20 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Al Wusta branch, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, the forum will explore investment opportunities in the blue economy.

His Highness Sayyid Harib bin Thuwaini al Said, Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers for Conferences, will inaugurate the event.

The forum features three key sessions: the first will focus on investment strategies in the blue economy, the second will delve into opportunities across food security, logistics, tourism, and renewable energy sectors, and the third will examine global technologies that enhance blue economy investments.

Experts, officials, and speakers from Oman and abroad will share insights on expanding blue economy investments. — ONA
