The forum features four training workshops focused on scientific research and innovation
SALALAH: The 'Dhofar Scientific Forum,' organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, commenced on Sunday at Dhofar University, targeting students, academics, researchers and innovators. This forum will continue until October 11.
The forum will feature four training workshops focused on scientific research and innovation, covering topics such as the ethics of scientific research, creative thinking skills, strategic innovation management and techniques for writing scientific theses.
These workshops will be conducted in collaboration with academic institutions in the Dhofar Governorate, along with awareness presentations at various governmental, educational and private institutions. The forum also includes an awareness exhibition designed to highlight scientific research and innovation projects, showcasing several success stories and interactive content.
Dr Salah bin Sumar al Zadjali, Director-General of Programmes and Capacity Building at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, emphasised that the forum aims to enhance the research and innovation capabilities of young students and graduates, introduce ministry programmes and projects, foster communication and partnerships between researchers and supporting entities, promote the culture of scientific research and innovation in society, and address challenges and aspirations in this field.
