Red Warriors gear up for Kuwait clash

The Red Warriors are getting set to take on Kuwait and Jordan in a tight clashes at the third and fourth rounds of the final qualifiers for the 2026 Fifa World Cup. The matches are scheduled for October 10 in Muscat and October 15 in Amman respectively. Nine days are remaining for the closest tie against Gulf team Kuwait in a home game at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

The Oman national team players are undergoing their daily training sessions under the watchful eyes of experienced national coach Rasheed Jaber and his assistant coaching team including Omani coach Yaqboob al Sabahi. The selected players are busy with training sessions and on Wednesday they completed their fifth session under the supervision of the new head coach.

The technical team manager and his accompanying staff focused in different areas including the physical and stretching warm-up. Later, the head coach concentrated on positioning of the player’s placement through some technical drills and tactical exercises.

Mohsin al Ghassani, who is playing for Bangkok United, and Salah al Yahyaei of Bahrain's Al Khaldiya SC, will join the team in the coming days while the rest of the players are attending all the training sessions.

On the other side, the national campaign 'We are all with you' announced the details of obtaining the free tickets for Kuwait match on October 10. The main committee of the campaign made free electronic tickets available for all governorates of Oman through the website www.afc2024oman.com

Fans are required to enter accurate information on the website and confirm the authenticity of the provided details. Ticket collection is scheduled for October 4-5 while if tickets are not collected within the specified period, these tickets will be re-floated for others in the website.

Tickets will be required to attend the match and attendees must adhere to the regulation. VIP platform tickets will also be available for sale at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex starting from October 6-8.
