Omani-Iranian joint military exercise Mountain Falcons /1 begins

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: The Omani-Iranian Joint Military Exercise Mountain Falcons /1 began at Saiq Camp in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.
The exercise is implemented by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Sultan of Oman’s Parachutes, with the participation of personnel from the Iranian Army’s ground forces and with support from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The exercise comprises various military training exercises and will last until October 10. It aims to sustain combat efficiency and operational readiness of the members of the Royal Army of Oman and exchange expertise between the two friendly countries. — ONA
