Oman participates in GCC Endowment meeting

DOHA: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs took part today in the 9th meeting of GCC Under-Secretaries of Endowments and Religious Affairs, held in Doha, the State of Qatar.
Oman was represented during the meeting by Ahmed bin Saleh al Rashdi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.
The meeting discussed the importance of highlighting the real image of Islam and combating hate campaigns, fanaticism, extremism and sectarianism.
It also underscored the importance of consolidating the bases of cooperation between endowment and religious affairs ministries and authorities.
Further, the meeting discussed several other mutual topics related to endowments and religious affairs. — ONA
