MHT hosts 70 tourism firms from Europe

 
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, hosted prominent tourism companies from some European markets (France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, and the Nordic countries) under the Hello Europe campaign.

The event shows the participation of more than 70 tourism companies as part of the efforts made by the Ministry to attract tourism from various tourism markets and within the promotional plan for the current year.

Haitham bin Mohammed al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, said, The 'Hello Europe' event is among the events that the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism relies on in the field of tourism promotion and enhancing the position of the Sultanate of Oman as a tourist destination on the global stage by showcasing the diversity of the Omani tourism product for the European market and communicating with major international tourism companies in the European market, introducing companies to the most important tourism components in the Sultanate of Oman, and learning about the latest developments in the Omani tourism sector, upcoming developments, and special promotional offers.

The 'Hello Europe' event includes tourism experiences that aim to explore the authentic content of the cultural and natural heritage in the Sultanate of Oman and innovate in providing exceptional products and services to enhance the connection of tourists with places and people and build a cultural interactive platform between the local community and tourists in addition to promoting the Sultanate of Oman as an exceptional destination that offers distinctive products and unforgettable experiences.

The event also includes several interactive sessions to identify the main needs and interests of international markets and interactive discussions on developing tourism packages in addition to several brainstorming sessions to find solutions to enhance the attractiveness of the Sultanate of Oman. And reviewing the elements of tourist attraction, vocabulary, products, and rich and diverse natural and environmental tourism patterns to complete these elements with the cultural and civilizational values ​​that the Sultanate of Oman enjoys to provide an authentic Omani and Arab tourism experience.

The event also highlights, through visual presentations, the position of the Sultanate of Oman as a distinctive tourist destination among European tourists and the facilities.
