Ghusn Alzaytun, Olive Branch, is a three-day event held at Rozna Hall organized by Dar al Atta`a, aimed at educating the society about Palestine, and its history and supporting them financially.
Hannan al Muscati, marketing and event manager, said, 'A lot of people do not know how to support Palestine so the event is also to support the mindset of the children through different games and arts, which gives hints about Palestine and its history to the children.'
Participants have come up with many products ranging from fruits, spices, herbs, food, clothing, arts and crafts.
There is also an exhibition by artists portraying their interpretation of the situation in Palestine.
The evenings are also lined up with renowned speakers giving an insight into Palestine.
There is a booth that provides an insight on how to boycott goods to support Palestine and the next booth has alternative products that are available in the market. A group of artists have come together with their art in the form of stickers and bags to support the Palestinian cause.
The event concludes on Saturday.
