Muscat: Oman Pumps emerged as champions in the second season of the Saturday Cricket League under the Muscat Tennis Cricket League. In an exciting final, they defeated the strong Al Nahda Blasters by 1 wicket to clinch the title.

Al Nahda Blasters, who lost the toss and batted first, struggled against Shidu's bowling. Shidu took 4 wickets, and with Pradeep and Somu taking 2 wickets each, Al Nahda Blasters were all out for 102 runs in 14.3 overs. In response, Oman Pumps also faced difficulties against Al Nahda Blasters' bowling. At one point, it seemed like they were heading towards defeat, but Safir's explosive batting in the final overs secured the win. Safeer remained unbeaten with 45 runs off 19 balls and was named the player of the final.

For Al Nahda, James took 3 wickets, while Ibrar and Raghu supported well with 2 wickets each.

Earlier in the semifinals, Al Nahda Blasters and Oman Pumps defeated BHT and Three Cs Friends, respectively, to qualify for the final.

Safeer from Oman Pumps was named the player of the final. The best batsman award went to Adhil from Muscat Raptors, and the best bowler award went to Shabeer from Al Nahda Blasters. Shahid from Ruwi Smashers was named the player of the tournament.

The organisers thanked all the teams that participated in the tournament.
