MUSCAT: The official price of Oman oil yesterday for delivery in October reached $75.49. The price of Oman oil on Wednesday witnessed an increase of 48 cents compared to yesterday's price, Tuesday, which was $75.01.

The monthly average price of Omani crude oil for delivery in August reached $82.50 per barrel, down by $1.39 compared to the price for delivery in July.

Meanwhile, oil prices recovered in Asian trading yesterday on heightened Middle East tensions, but gains were capped by weak demand. Brent crude futures rose 17 cents, or 0.16 per cent, to $77.77 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 17 cents, or 0.23 percent, to $74.47. — ONA
