'Pass by Duqm' campaign offers discounts to Khareef visitors

Duqm: In its second edition, the ' Pass by Duqm' campaign offers exclusive discounts up to 40% on a number of hotels and cafes located in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm. The region has witnessed an upsurge in visitors during the Khareef period, which is driving up demand for restaurants, hotels, beaches, and other service amenities.

The promotional campaign, which coincides with the Khareef season, focuses on encouraging visitors to and from the Governorate of Dhofar to visit Duqm, whether by air or by land. The aim is to boost internal tourism and highlight the tourist attractions that the Wilayat of Duqm offers as a stopover between the north and south of Oman, as well as the sea route and abundant natural beauty that Duqm is well known for.

The 'Pass by Duqm' campaign offers a variety of savings and promotions on numerous hotel amenities, cafes, and restaurants in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm. It was launched on July 18 and will run through the beginning of September.

As part of the campaign's activities, several contests and prizes will be revealed, such as the Best Picture Competition, which is targeted at amateur photographers and aims to showcase Duqm's natural beauty, genuine heritage, culture, and way of life. The campaign aims to inform visitors about its goals, activities, and offers by releasing promotional publications across multiple media platforms.

It is significant that the 'Pass by Duqm' campaign is part of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm management's efforts to improve information about the zone and all of the tourism attractions Duqm offers its visitors.

Three new hotel buildings opened in Duqm this year, bringing the total number of hotel options to 15, including four-star establishments. The number of hotel rooms in the area has also climbed to almost 2,460.
