The 'Jood' platform for charitable donations is concerned with receiving donations and providing assistance to those who deserve it.

It brings together all voluntary charitable associations and teams in the Sultanate of Oman.

It enables individuals and institutions to donate electronically through secure payment channels. It is one of the goals and indicators of 'Oman Vision 2040', within the priority of social welfare and protection.

The platform aims to create a unified database to include the data of beneficiaries of charitable assistance and aid, reduce the time and effort required to study cases, deliver assistance to those who deserve it with ease, and ensure the security of beneficiary information and donations. The 'Jood' platform consists of four types of donations: donation according to the initiative, which means the initiatives submitted by charitable associations and teams in order to collect donations from the public, and examples of this include: general donations, orphan sponsorship, school meals, Eid clothing, ongoing charity, sacrifices, zakat, housing assistance, relief and disasters, and others, as well as donating according to the charity or charitable team, donating to a specific case, in addition to in-kind donations.
