Summer Tourism Season begins at Coastal Areas

Jalan Bani Bu Ali: The coastal areas in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate witness active tourism activities with the start of the summer season and the arrival of visitors from Oman and other countries.
These coastal areas are renowned for their moderate weather and lower temperatures.
During this season, relentless efforts were exerted to enhance the natural capabilities of tourist attractions. Many projects are also being implemented, and several events will be held.
Shaikh Mohammed Humaid al Ghabashi, Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Ali said that activities of “Al Ashkharah Summer Extravaganza” (Ajwaa Al Ashkharah) will be held, in its 2nd edition, during the period from July 10 till July 31, 2024 (21 days) at Al Ashkarah Public Park.
Al Ghabashi added that Al Ashkharah Summer Extravaganza will include many recreational, cultural, artistic and sports events and programmes.
He also pointed out that a Heritage Village event will be held on the sidelines of the extravaganza, as well as a corner for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that will see the participation of 40 entrepreneurs.
Moreover, it is worth noting that there are 146 hotel/resort establishments in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah that offer as many as 1,634 hotel rooms.
