The world record for the ‘Fastest Recitation of Counting from 1 to 10’ has been achieved by an expatriate toddler from Muscat.

On April 6, 2024, Vianna Kanojia, who is one year, 8 months, and 15 days old, recited the numbers from 1 to 10 in just 6 seconds, breaking the previous record of 8 seconds. This remarkable feat has been recognized by the International Book of Records, a global platform that showcases unique talents and inspires people worldwide to achieve extraordinary feats. The International Book of Records collates and publishes notable records of all types, celebrating first and best achievements.

Vianna’s parents, Payal and Sanjit Kanojia, discovered this platform through social media, where they saw many people showcasing their talents in various fields. This inspired them to explore Vianna’s abilities further. Vianna’s remarkable talent for learning new things quickly has left them speechless.

“Since childhood, she loved listening to rhymes and music and would often croon along. She also started repeating alphabets and numbers when she was just 15 months old. Every day, she would sing rhymes, alphabets, and numbers, and one day, we were amazed to hear her count from 1 to 6 without any help when she was 19 months old,” they shared.

With minimal effort, Vianna learned to count from 1 to 10 by the time she was 20 months old. Her parents are incredibly proud of their little champion, who continues to amaze them every single day. Confident in Vianna’s abilities, they encouraged her to participate in the record attempt.

“We are certain that Vianna will excel in whatever she chooses to pursue, and we are here to support her every step of the way. We would like to thank the International Book of Records for recognising our child’s talent,” says Sanjit Kanojia, her father who works for Sun Shine International SPC.
