Sayyid Theyazin to roll out military discipline programme

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, has given the green light for the implementation of the Military Discipline Programme, scheduled to be held in Dhofar Governorate from June 30 to July 24.
In his statement, Sayyid Theyazin remarked, “This initiative stems from the government’s dedication, under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, to develop the skills of our youth and instill deeply-rooted authentic values. The programme will encompass various activities that promote patriotic values and cultural, sports, and social practices aimed at fostering self-discipline and individual commitment.”
“The Ministry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, several military and security agencies, and various other government institutions, has prioritized elements of citizenship, identity, heritage, and national culture in this training programme. These elements are central to our vision’s principles and foundations”, he added.
Emphasizing the programme’s significance, Sayyid Theyazin highlighted its role in strengthening national identity and fostering a sense of belonging. He noted that the programme creates opportunities to harness the energies of Omani youth for more effective developmental participation, contributing to the nation's ongoing growth and prosperity, and achieving additional national accomplishments.
