Areas around Al Hajar Mountains to get rains

Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Office said the Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas are likely to experience scattered rains and occasional thundershowers associated with active downdraft winds (15-30 knots), which may cause unstable objects to fly.

According to the weather forecast, the middle and eastern parts of the al Hajr ranges are predicted to receive rain of varying intensity, which may lead wadis to overflow.

Meanwhile, the Met Office had earlier reported sporadic rains across various areas of Dhofar Governorate.
