HM receives credentials of ambassadors

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received separately at Al Alam Palace on Monday credentials of a number of ambassadors accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty received credentials of the following ambassadors:

1. Showkutally Soodhun, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to the Sultanate of Oman.



2. Christophe Farnaud, Ambassador of the European Union to the Sultanate of Oman.



3. Jean-Philippe Linteau, Ambassador of Canada to the Sultanate of Oman.



4. U Tin Yu, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Sultanate of Oman.



5. Duncan Mulima, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the Sultanate of Oman.



6. Razim Colic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Sultanate of Oman.



7. Roberto Ebert Grob, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to the Sultanate of Oman.



8. Dan Munyuza, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Sultanate of Oman.



9. Jacques Yacoub Nahayo, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to the Sultanate of Oman.



10. Nikoloz Revazishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Sultanate of Oman.



11. Miroslav Sestovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Sultanate of Oman.



12. Uk Sarun, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Sultanate of Oman.



During their sidelines meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty. They also wished the Omani people further development and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

They also expressed their great honour and delight at presenting their credentials to His Majesty. They affirmed to exert all efforts to promote relations of their respective countries with Oman in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ citizens.



His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed that they would receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
