Atif bin Said al Siyabi, Chief Information Officer at OIA, emphasised that the Authority and its companies prioritise the technology sector, reflecting the noble vision and government direction towards building and developing a prosperous and sustainable digital economy. This is achieved by bringing in and localizing technology within targeted local sectors through various programs, initiatives, and executive plans that contribute to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

In a statement, he explained that the Authority and its companies are committed to supporting startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tech sector through significant initiatives and agreements. These efforts reflect the Authority's collaborative approach to fostering innovation and growth in Oman's technology sector.

It is also noted that on the sidelines of the exhibition, the OIA-affiliated companies will sign strategic partnerships and cooperative agreements with several government and private institutions, as well as banks, aimed at providing digital services and innovative technological solutions. — ONA
