Air Liquide Sohar Industrial Gases (ALSIG), the subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group in Oman, has renewed its long-term contract for the supply of nitrogen to global integrated energy company OQ in the country.
This new step in their collaboration demonstrates the trust both companies have built over the years.
ALSIG was established in 2005 for the purpose of producing and supplying industrial gases to customers in oil refining, chemical and metallurgical sectors in the Sohar Port and Freezone and Muscat.
The company operates three air separation units and an extensive pipeline network delivering the industrial gases. ALSIG has solid safety and reliability records with 100 per cent reliability to its customers and 0 Lost Time Accidents (LTA).
Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and healthcare. Present in 72 countries with 67,800 employees, the Group serves more than 4 million customers and patients.
Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are essential small molecules for life, matter and energy. The Group develops solutions contributing to climate and the energy transition — particularly with hydrogen — and takes action to progress in areas of healthcare, digital and high technologies. Air Liquide’s revenue amounted to more than 27.5 billion euros in 2023.
