HM receives written message from Algerian President

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. It deals with bilateral relations and means of promoting them.
The message was handed over to His Majesty the Sultan when he gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday to Ahmed Attaf, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
During the audience, the Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of President Tebboune to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.
On his turn, His Majesty asked him to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Algerian President and the people of Algeria.
The audience underlined the distinguished relations between Oman and Algeria.
It was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Hussein bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, Advisor at the Private Office and Dr Mohammed Ali Bugazi, Ambassador of Algeria to Oman.
