HM the Sultan gives audience to UN Secretary General

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to António Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations (UN).
The audience reviewed the regional and international developments, particularly the situations in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, as well as the UN efforts to stop the war and bring aid to the Strip.His Majesty also discussed with the UN Secretary General the Omani-UN cooperation and means of backing the joint work between the two sides.

The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office and Hussein bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, Advisor at the Private Office.
