Sudan's Tarco Aviation to launch Muscat flights

 
Muscat: The Sudan-based Tarco Aviation will connect the cities of Muscat and Port Sudan with two flights per week, Oman Airports said in a statement.

Tarco also operates flights to Cairo, Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Sharjah, and Dubai.

Port Sudan is a city and port on the Red Sea in eastern Sudan and the capital of Red Sea State.

Port Sudan is Sudan's main seaport and the source of 90 percent of the country's international trade.

Tarco Aviation is an airline based in Khartoum, Sudan, established in 2009.

In December 2018 the company changed its name to Tarco Aviation with over 1,200 employees and 11 aircraft, the company is one of the largest aviation companies in Sudan currently operating scheduled passenger flights, charter, and leasing.

In December last year, Badr Airlines started operations from Port Sudan International Airport, operating two weekly flights.

Badr Airlines is based in Khartoum, Sudan, operating cargo and passenger air services for humanitarian aid missions and chartered VIP flights.
