Next low-pressure system to be less intense

Muscat: The next low-pressure system, expected to impact the Sultanate of Oman on April 23 and 25, is likely to be less intense, according to Oman Meteorology.
With the air trough originating from Southern Iran, the northern governorates of Buraimi, Al-Dakhiliyah, Al-Batinah, and Al-Sharqiyah will be most affected by the situation, which will include scattered rain, accompanied by thunderstorms.
Over the next two days, there are chances of low to moderate rain in the governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta.
The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority is continuing search operations in the North Sharqiyah Governorate for the missing person in a wadi in Al Mudhaibi.
