OHRC following up on children's deaths in flash floods

Muscat: The Omani Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of several children in flash floods during the exceptional weather conditions that prevailed in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
OHRC said it is following up and studying the causes of the incident that claimed so many lives.
It called on the concerned authorities to take all necessary measures and ensure that such painful incidents are not repeated within the framework
of what is required by the current laws.
OHRC requested everyone to take the utmost caution during exceptional weather conditions taking into account the child’s best interests.
