MUSCAT: Ahli Sidab secured a hard-fought victory over Seeb 24-23 in a closely contested Oman Handball League match at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher on Sunday.
The match was a nail-biting affair from start to finish, with both teams showcasing their prowess and determination. The first half saw a balanced display, with the teams exchanging goals and neither able to establish a significant lead. Ahli Sidab took an early lead through Adnan al Wahaibi, but Seeb responded quickly to level the score. Despite Seeb's efforts to take the lead, Ahli Sidab regained control, scoring two crucial goals by Abdulaziz al Dagheeshi and Mohammed al Dagheeshi to end the first half with an 11-9 advantage.

At the end of the first stage, Oman Club led the tournament's overall standings with 12 points, followed by Seeb in second place with 10 points and Ahli Sidab in third place with 7 points, edging out Muscat on goal difference.
