Oman Across Ages Museum joins OMREN

Muscat: To enhance the role of museums in disseminating knowledge and culture, and to keep pace with the technological, research, and innovative progress, the Oman Across Ages Museum joined the Oman Research and Education Network (OMREN).
This partnership will strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the museum and various institutions in the field of scientific research and education, support the enrichment of research cooperation between researchers in these institutions, develop joint research programs, and spread scientific awareness among members of society.
Engineer al Yaqzan bin Abdullah al Harthi, Director General of Oman Across Ages Museum, said that “The Oman Across Ages Museum” seeks to pay attention to the technical aspect to embody digital use in the museum’s exhibition halls and to conduct research and studies, Organize conferences and seminars in relevant fields according to What was stated about the museum’s specializations in the Royal Decree establishing the Oman Museum over time.
He added that the Museum has joined the OMREN to create a distinct digital experience for its visitors, provide technical solutions in various scientific and research fields, as well as enhance the museum’s role in providing an integrated scientific and cultural environment.
