ITB Berlin 2024 to spotlight Oman’s stunning tourist treasures

The Sultanate of Oman announced several months ago its active participation in the International Tourism Bureau in Berlin for the year 2024. Oman, as the official host country for this global event in Federal Germany at ITB Berlin 2024, is thus participating in the largest tourism and commercial event in the world, attended by hundreds of countries and tourism and hotel institutions and global aviation. Thousands of people working in the tourism industry in the world will also attend this event annually.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism hopes that from its participation in this global event, its active participation in the exhibition will provide new opportunities to showcase its tourism potential to the world public and as an exceptional tourist destination in a region that maintains the highest tourism standards.
The Berlin International Bureau (ITB Berlin) is attended annually by thousands of people specialized in international tourism, along with leading experts, media professionals, journalists, politicians, and influential opinion makers from all over the world. In this regard, Salem bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, confirms that Oman is committed to providing a wonderful and lasting experience in this event that covers all matters related to and possible tourism expectations and is pleased to be the host country for this global event for the year 2024.
This participation of Oman is not the first of its kind, but it has enjoyed strong participation and representation in this exhibition for many years, as the exhibition has great demand and is distinguished by presenting various tourist attractions of countries and their tourism potential.
ITB Berlin is a strong platform to display a variety of the many offers offered by participating countries. Oman, as the host country for 2024, will showcase most of the tourism components that exist in the country in order to highlight the tourist attractions that today help attract internal and external investments and provide job opportunities for Omanis.
