HM greetings to Belarus President conveyed

 
Minsk: President Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus received, in Minsk on Thursday, Hamoud bin Salim al Tuwaih, Ambassador of Oman to the Russian Federation, who presented to the President his credentials as Oman’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Belarus.

The ambassador conveyed His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s greetings and wishes of good health and happiness to President Lukashenko. He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes of success to Belarus government, along with His Majesty's wishes of progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Belarus.

The ambassador thanked the President for his sincere sentiments towards Oman, its leadership and its people. He affirmed Oman’s keenness to develop its relations with Belarus in all areas of mutual interest. He hoped that such reciprocity would benefit both countries and help achieve cooperation and stability within the international community.

For his part, President Lukashenko asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and sincere wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. He also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

During the credentials’ presentation ceremony, President Lukashenko stressed that 'Oman-Belarus relations are always distinguished for a high level of mutual understanding'. He pointed out that the Sultanate of Oman figures among the most important partners of Belarus in the Middle East. In this context, he stressed the need to press ahead with communications and cooperation.

In comments, President Lukashenko described Oman and its people as “wonderful”. He expressed his readiness to proceed with constructive political dialogue and implement joint investment, logistical and industrial projects. — ONA
